Building Inclusive STEM Communities with Dr. Wanda Eugene, Collaborat...
Underserved and underestimated groups across Florida often lack the resources and tools to get involved and grow their ideas into successful businesses. Dr. Wanda Eugene, director for the Collaboratory for Inclusive Entrepreneurship, has made it her mission to fix this.
It wasn’t until he built a VR flight simulator prototype for a senior design project, however, that the thought of creating a business to pursue these ideas crossed his mind. Encouraged by feedback from his professors and local industry leaders, Naids turned his project into a spinoff company and co-founded Talon Simulations in 2015.
We are excited to hear from the EnergyTech UP competitors selected, who will present what could be the next revolutionary business idea at the EnergyTech University Prize regional competition, hosted by The Corridor.
The Corridor appointed Amy Beaird, Ph.D., to chief strategy officer and welcomed Steve “Snak” Nakagawa as Cenfluence program director.
