Ecosystem Success Story: SynMatter
In the shadows of Kennedy Space Center at Space Florida’s Space Life Sciences Lab, SynMatter is leveraging NASA technology to solve a multi-trillion-dollar problem: corrosion.
It wasn’t until he built a VR flight simulator prototype for a senior design project, however, that the thought of creating a business to pursue these ideas crossed his mind. Encouraged by feedback from his professors and local industry leaders, Naids turned his project into a spinoff company and co-founded Talon Simulations in 2015.
We are excited to hear from the EnergyTech UP competitors selected, who will present what could be the next revolutionary business idea at the EnergyTech University Prize regional competition, hosted by The Corridor.
The Corridor appointed Amy Beaird, Ph.D., to chief strategy officer and welcomed Steve “Snak” Nakagawa as Cenfluence program director.
