Based on its success in Stage One of the Small Business Administration’s Growth Accelerator Fund Competition, the Florida High Tech Corridor (The Corridor) and its regional partners were selected for a $150,000 Stage Two-prize. The prize will enable Central Florida collaborators to enhance business support services for high-tech companies in the region’s rural areas.
Amy Beaird, Ph.D., chief strategy officer (CSO) for the Florida High Tech Corridor (The Corridor), was named among the Orlando Business Journal’s 2023 C-Suite Award winners. Beaird is one of 23 winners recognized for their outstanding leadership and performance in their areas of expertise.
The Corridor’s Cenfluence clustering initiative led the development of the application and will leverage existing regional assets in new ways to reach beyond urban city centers and serve organizations based in rural communities.
