The Modeling & Simulation Leadership Summit is an event sponsored by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA) in support of the Modeling and Simulation Congressional Caucus. The purpose of the event is to bring the M&S Community of Practice together to discuss important issues related to Modeling and Simulation, and to try to reach consensus on one or two specific, actionable initiatives for the Congressional M&S Caucus to take for action.
There will be two 2022 M&S Leadership Summit events this year. The first, to be held on Tuesday, June 14 (just prior to TSIS) at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL, will discuss the potential policy and legislative impacts of the Metaverse and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR). The second Summit on Tele-Simulation in Healthcare will be held on Wednesday, July 13 in the DC area, in conjunction with the M&S Caucus Modeling and Simulation Expo. Members of the Congressional Modeling & Simulation Caucus will be in attendance, along with other Congressional staffers. Keynotes and panels will feature visionaries in these two areas along with legislative challenges and proposed policy and legislative support that can be provided. As we move ahead in planning the Capitol Hill Summit, the event location is based on accessibility to the Rayburn House Building, we will keep everyone up to date on location status. These two events should not be missed!
