AMRoC Fab Lab is once again bringing our STEAMFest Road Show to the Creative Living Competitive Exhibits division of the Florida State Fair!
Held in the Florida Center February 17 -18, 2024, this year the main event is the STEAMFest Combat Robotics Weekend! Here’s the tentative schedule:
Saturday Feb.17 – Demos and Activities
Combat demo matches throughout the day
Student robotics outreach with different types of robotics
Robot Driving opportunities for the public
Activities for small children with “cutebot” exploration, Ozobot line following robots and similar
Robot Art activities
3D printing
Sunday Feb. 18 – Combat Robotics Tournament
Up to 20 teams fighting 3 weight classes of robots – 150 g, 1 lb and 3 lb – 10 am to 6 pm
With live game announcing, ringside viewing, monitor viewing, and livestream
